- Description
- Additional info
- Reviews
Abacha is the result of treating Cassava, a tuber plant. The raw cassava tuber was peeled, boiled for about an hour and then washed squeaky clean. The shredded/grated abacha is then soaked in water overnight and washed squeaky clean before being dried in the sun. The final product is white, crunchy and can be eaten dry as a snack with coconuts, roasted groundnuts (peanuts), cashewnuts and other ingredients like bread or buns.
